Ps, isn't the switch Jayrome is refering too similar to the old hks ecv's? It'd just be a valve that you could control from the cabin that opens and shuts the bov from the intake pipe? Shouldn't be too hard to rig up I guess....I would do it if I was not so lazy lol.

RVR97 even $92 is a great price for the mr bov, OTR were selling them for $200 not long ago! I almost bit the bullet and bought one through them until I realised that I'd miss the flutter too much.....I hear ya QIK247

BOV dude....It's a 'blow off valve', not a by pass valve, they are different ;) By the 8mr, straight swap with your factory one dude

If you're after 'slightly' better performing bov, EVO 8mr FTW. It won't be any louder provided you still run factory airbox. If you run a pod, it will be quite loud off throttle. Imo, the factory HSG one is fine even at 1bar, so unless you're running bigger boost than that or a bigger turbo...

Sorted thanks guys, yep cleaned, sandpapered and that blue stuff used in good dosage in and around terminal! Hopefully can avoid the same issue, but ideally, a whole revamp of my wiring is in order....alarm and tt like to s**t themselves at any small amount of battery drama, and it ain't pretty...

Dirty terminal....so simple/so stupid. Any way of avoiding this, any batterys or connections I can buy so this never happens. I can't stand the rough idle issues, scares me lol

Thanks guys, did a bit of research and turns out the batter/rough idle issue is quite common....seems once disconnected, it has to 'learn' the idle setting etc again. I never knew this, but many have discussed it on other car forums. I regards to the terminal replacement, i will defo do this...

Exact same ebay one vuonguz. Also bought the stainless mani from same seller, done about 10k kms all trouble free. Made 171awkw with them + full 3" exhaust, pod, dodgy wastegate mod on turbo to make 12psi (spikes to 14 momentarily) ;p Need ebc to bring boost on earlier but happy with delivery...
