Oh yeah .. the GTR will definitely get into the 10s with a few more passes. Dead stock GTRs with the speed limiter removed have been tested at 11.3s @ 120-121mph, and the Haltech car has an extra 100hp or so. It ran 126 mph on a later pass - I'd expect it to run 10.70s without too much fuss.

Yeah, it's a pretty crazy car. It actually had a full exhaust on it late last week (done by Race Solutions), and apparently made no extra power - suprising considering the standard exhaust arrangement looks really restrictive, going back and forth between mufflers. Nissan sure have done a great...

That's also my solution to everything :lol: I'd love to have a stock looking GSR .. the whole 2L thing and huge front mount kinda kills that idea though. I've thought about putting a stock wing on it, but there are better things to spend the money on. edit: I dunno how you can take exception...

In my experience, it won't. My block was o-ringed with a copper gasket when I bought it, but was leaking. Having heard so many horror stories about copper gaskets being a bitch to get a good seal with, I decided to put a Cometic HP in. We pulled the head and machined both surfaces perfectly...

It's a bit sad, but it's gotta be frustrating having driveline problems nearly everytime you take the car out - I can understand where they're coming from. I look forward to seeing what they can do with a rwd platform :D

Yeah, my last was a heap of shit, I'm gonna raise the budget a bit this time around. I was looking at EG hatches, though I think I'm gonna find something I can tow the lancer with.

I used to drive my lancer 600kms a week just to and from work (and another few hundred just driving around), and it did it no worries. In the end, it started costing me too much in fuel (~$180/week), so I picked up a daily bunky and never looked back. It wasn't just the savings in fuel, but...

Advanti rallytech, I think. At least, they look the same as mine, just without the extra holes for multifit.
