No, only seamless cold drawn tubing  ..I think they quoted me $1500 to strip and reassemble the car.

And I can think of a bunch that are just straight number jobs too.CLuTZ said:There would have to be a few REP and REB VIN'd cars floating around though

and as mentioned above, just about every GSR has an evo3 kit. at the end of the day its just a car and the owner can do whatever he wants to it.

The bodywork looks alright, though I agree the cheap taillights/indicators bring it down a bit.
Dunno why people get so worked up over a cheap bolt in cage anyway, it's just a fashion accessory (those front bars that go round rather than through the dash will do next to nothing if it ends up on it's lid, and you bang your damn knees on the mgetting in and out).
Welded in cages, tagged to the pillars ftw!
The wheels are Rays gram lights 57pro's.
I think a bolt in cage does a little more than become a fashion accessory, especially if you are running harnesses.
No doubt they are not in the same league as a weld in job but still provide a fair amount of protection if you end up on the lid.
I am going to fit a bond bolt in job into my car, for a few reasons...
Its CAMS approved.
Its $1200 with harness bars for a 6 point, compared to the $7000 quote I got for a weld in cage.
It can be removed without any major refitting to the car..ie finding another dash to replace the one with 2 big holes in it
Also transport legalities, as in my state 2 seater registration is not allowed, therefore making 6 point cages illegal, I will be able to remove the front legs when not at the track and still be road legal.
I would rather have a bolt in cage than no cage at all whilst being strapped into the seat with a harness, being unable to move your head while the roof caved in around you
That's also my solution to everything :lol:OFFON-4 said:Plus any EVO wanna question it will be wastegated LoL
I dunno how you can take exception to that when you call your car an 'evo coupe?'Indeed, im gettin over the whole EVO bodykits now coz everyone is startin to throw them on every car... sorta ruins the EVO name Sad for instance the bloody laser on carsales grrrr
The only cars that deserve the EVO kit are EVOs!!!!
