Hey guys, Going to replace my stock aus spec cooler with something decent. Planning to run a hybrid turbo, somewhere between a 16g and a 20g compressor as far as I'm aware, up to 15psi; evo 8 injectors, j-spec computer and a chip from razza... 2.5" piping... was thinking either an evo 1-3...

yeah, it is. Gonna get another alarm put in next week after I fix up this problem. The button is a bit random to me though.

Maybe it's this little button that I dunno wtf it's for??? (I know it isn't... but what a freaking mess of a job has been done to this :angry: )

Ok... i just pulled the plugs off the fuse box again and put them back on again. there was nothing missing... Also took the car around the block; when the handbrake is up, the tacho drops to 0, when it's down, think it isn't reading right, it's showing lower revs than it's doing. i farking...

Pretty sure the fuse box is 100% hooked up. Will take a photo of the back of it later... I HOPE it's that simple...

ok... so key to ignition, and left indicator light comes on (on the dash only, not external), but doesnt flash. key 1 more click to on, and both indicator lights come on (on the dash only), but don't flash. Ideas? what the freaking hell is wrong with this thing? :blink: :angry:

Hey guys, Ran a power cable through the car following the stock route (through the guard, behind the fuse box)... In doing so, had to disconnect the fuse box and move it out of the way for a bit. Also moved the alarm, because it was in the way too... But now i've got no blinkers and no dash...

Supercheap can get all those parts in AFAIK. Protex supplies brembo rotors, TRW are the same as Lucas pads... Might be worth pricing up the parts from them. Sounds a bit on the high side, but not crazy.

Isn't crunching at all now. Might be because was sitting for 2 weeks? Still making the noise though... am hoping to not take the box out!!! but if i have to...

old topic guys... but just wondering from reading the above; Car's making a fan belt like noise when clutch is out, goes away when press clutch pedal in... would that be the thrust bearing maybe? It was also crunching into first, but that might have been because it was sitting for 2 weeks, and...

3 copper washers and a spring washer later... shifter is HEAPS tighter. Greased between the washers on both sides to allow it to move.
