Just a quick question. What would make a tacho not work on idel, then out of the blue, while under ecceleration, jump to life for a second or 2, then of again? Drive for a bit, then on for 2 seconds and then of, then nothing at all? Minets go buy and same thing happens. Please help

Just my 2cents, I have has realy good sucsess with oven cleaner. Gets rid of all kinds of things the are oil, petrol and grease related. Hint-: Try some in an inconspicuios place first to check for paint damage. Should be simple as spray on and wipe away. I guess you should splash some detergent...

G'day mate. This might be a wild goose chase and is Brisbane, and it might not be the right 1. What I have learnt is it is the same, my motor and gear box are mitsi made and are the same bolt pattern as Galant and lancer and others. Hope this helps...

No they are hydraulic. The exhaust manifold you sold me bolts straight on. No I just wanted to get in there to find out how many I need to replace, so I need to get in under the cover to pull them out and inspect. Thanks for the reponses guys I will have a go this weekend, cheers.

Righto man. Thanks for the heads up. I was not sure weather to pull or twist or what. So it will just lift up then slide right out of there? No need to remove studs or anything? It looked like it was getting caught on those studs for the cap nuts. Maby it was some gasket or something holding it hey.
