Travis or anybody who might have access to old school parts listings...
A friend is after a thermostat housing to suit a 1974 LA chain drive 4g32GS engine 1.6l that came with the twin downdraught solex carby intake manifold.
He's a member of Sigma/Galant and no help there either...

The thermostat housing has to fit an intake manifold like this:

Thanks

Nope the guy told me they are different size to normal Lancer/Galant ones from the same era and very hard to find.
Not to worry I dont think... because I just logged into my email and the guy thinks he's found a supplier now.

Did you have some old Lancer/Galants too did you?
The manifold is a remnant from one of my old hillclimb Lancer/Galant parts from 15+ years ago lol... The buyer is pretty keen to get his hands on it for $100 as the factory twin manifolds are quite rare. I sold it immediately for $100... the boys throw twin solex's from TA22 Celicas on them :)
I had 2 x LB Lancer sedans and a GC Galant coupe. Wish I never sold the GC coupe though :( One day I'd like to buy another.

I had a gc sedan with a ub nimbus 1.8 and lc lancer 5 speed. electronic ignition, exhaust etc.
I sold it to a mate and it now has a cam and twin solexs on a weber manifold.
cool little cars/.
