just got back home......
update:
if you have pre paid, name yourself at the gates and entry will be granted
if you haven't paid, make sure u have made arrangements for your name to be on the list... otherwise call me on 0433 282 558 and let me know...
as for the food situation, i have just been informed that there is a total fire ban in that area... not sure if they are full of shit or what, but it looks like the bbq is cancelled... sorry for the late notice in regards to that.. i was only called today...
But cans are still allowed!!
I will have tools during the day, so if anybody has any issues, let me know, i may be able to assist!

Yes well I just got home after having to drive all the way back with 4th gear and neutral only- apart from that it was a good day, at least I didnt have to get a tow home (damo :lol: )
My car was getting better as the day progressed, with zero traction in 1st and second I still managed a 13.7@111mph- pretty happy with the trap speed, only 2mph short of the 12.0@113mph that my old VR4 did- and it was hot out there, i'm guessing around 30 deg ambient temp!!!
Was looking at a mid 13 at least until a shift from 3rd to 4th went horribly wrong and end up with me stuck in 4th gear
Its sad to say but most of the mitsi's got owned on the day, some unreal quick hondas- the grey one doing a 12.44 at one stage- not bad for N/A, big ups to the S.A guys for turning up in their dogboxed liberty's, 11.4 and 11.7 I think were their fastest times! See you this time next year guys 8)
LRDEVO managed a 11.8 I think- i'm sure someone who was paying more attention could fill the others who missed out in with the times!
I'd like to thank bazeng, Gooch, WRCVR4, Matress, the modproject team, Springy Motors, pure blond premium lager, the german chick who was spanking me :lol: and everyone who turned up for an awesome day. Class racing is by far the best option! DYO is also cool too!
Lets do it again next year!
