Sunday 22nd Feb is our first grass motorkhana for the year.
Held on private property just south of Cooroy.
Marek and Peter will attest to how much of a hoot these things are.
As usual, you need to be a member of the Northern Districts Sporting Car Club ($35), purchase a day CAMS license ($20) and pay the entry fee (usually around $30).

The vehicle does not need to be registered or roadworthy.

Riding as a passenger/ navigator is free, only those driving have to pay the entry fee. One car can have multiple drivers.

Any questions, fire away.

Rob.

Hmm, should i put my 15's on?

I might have to...shit this sounds fun!
Where exactly is it located?

Yes, definately 15's.
Google map "Skyring Creek Road, Federal"
Zoom in and follow Skyring creek road Northwest and you will see some tracks in a paddock. And that is exactly where it is.

Ive got a massive birthday to go to the night before, but I might stay dry...

Spose i should, the car was made for this shit!
Better get my ass into gear then...It wont be going anywhere looking like this, will it!

Bollocks, a Hyundia Excel won the last one outright. That proves you don't need power nor traction to win, just a good memory, sense of direction and some decent slow speed driving skills.

For what it's worth, I hope to be entering my front wheel drive hairdresser's car for this one.

hardly

For what it's worth, I hope to be entering my front wheel drive hairdresser's car for this one.

This wouldn't be the one that's been completely pulled apart, roll cage added, upgraded suspension and God-knows what else to turn it into a track weapon, before being put back together and disguised as a boring little Echo????;)

Um, not a track weapon Judd, a dirt road fun car perhaps. But yes. Although it won't fire up at the moment and I don't know if I have stuffed up the wiring somewhere or the Immobiliser built into the ecu is causing me grief. So I might be in the vr4 after all yet.

Let us know as soon as you can when that's likely to be. Have a busy year witha lot of travel going on, so I'll need to know whether I'll be around for these 'days'.

I have a birthday party (very big one) the night before.I might not drink though...
I dont think this heap of shit of mine will have the hotbits bolted into it by this sunday either.
I wouldnt mind bringin the barina up for a look,
actually, would the barina be allowed to enter?, that could be quite a funny now i think of it....:D

My bloody ex girlfriend is pressuring me to go to this event as there is a fkin sausauge dog for sale in the area and she wants to buy it... who knows what will happen, either way, ill either be there in a barina, or not at all.

Fukn sausage dogs, i should just buy it to shut her up.

Hell, I'll be there in my Echo, there's no reason why you can't enter with a Barina. If you do wish to enter and have some fun, you will need to get a third party extension certificate for the event. Ring me if you need more info.
