27th cruise up to glass house mountains

short notice but I've organize a cruise amongst friends to the north side but mainly I wanna test my car on the down hills :p



Meet points:

1. 8am Sunny park across from Market Sqaure, Sunnybank
2. 8.30am Milton Macca's

Leave there at 8.45am

Hoping weather will be better than the last one.

Mount Nebo, Glorious, Kilcoy and stop at Glass house mountains.

Short route back to brisbane pretty much straight down Mount Mee rd, Mount samson rd and Samford rd

I was there the last time you tried to "test it down hills" :lol: . Softened up that rear sway bar yet? ;)

That road East from Woodford used to be a lot of dirt, is that still the case? If so, then I'll meet you guys up there and we can go "play". :p

hahah that was a different matter I dont tend to go 130k's over a hill and down <_< jamie's fault!


I dont really know my way of the northside, i just googled and found the windiness route lol but sure! tho dirt is probably bad for me lol

I think i did, its been awhile so I cant really remember but it seem to stick better with the recent cruise. I set it so the rear tires push more pressure onto road but that would make it stiffer? I kinda got confused.... :huh:

I'm running 15" now and wider rims at the rear, with adrenaline tires at the front with -2 camber, stiffer front suspension. tho still chasing some for the rears.


date may change due to weather to tuesday so I will finalize the date by sunday
 
Googlemaps still shows that road as being dirt. It is a nice wide and fast road though so don't be too scared of it. Dirt is your friend! ;)

I'll have to see it to judge if i should be scared or not haha

it'll probably be tuesday 28th we'll go. Just suits better for a few friends to come along. Mo's got your number so we'll contact ya!

I would look but I'm on my phone atm so couldn't be stuffed, no doubt it'll be much the same as we've had for the past month. :(

sorry man, been busy and forgot to mention it to ya!

I reckon it'll be much the same as the last cruise which wasnt sooooooooo bad LOL

it says rains at periods but the end of the week it clears up
 
What is worng with rain?

I'm currently tring to negotiate with the wife to let me play on tuesday.
One great bonus is her sister has comeup from melbourne

Yeh, I might come, rally tyres will be pretty slippery in the rain though.
I'll probably meet up with you guys at Woodford though. I can show you a new road back down Mount Mee too!
 
I would take some ppl but I'm only running at 1.6L and I cant take more than one or else i might as well carry them on my back <_<

nigel_a im at runcorn can u drive to mine if you like? and once we get to a meet point u can hop into someone else car.
 
looks like I might of convinced the misses to let me go!

OK rob - semi slicks? or cheap arse death tyres (MAXXIS) with water groves.

the maxxis were the cheapest thing i could buy, i think i paid $120 for each
semis are Nitto NT01 about $300 each what to wear?
