4 stud hub on an evo 4 upright/knuckle?

My ball joints on the evo 3 lcas are on their way out and its gona cost about 500+ for new lcas seems there is no alternative replacment i have found a full evo 4 setup for about the same price and was wondering if there is a 4stud hub that will bolt onto the evo 4 upright? just cos im happy with the wheels i have at the moment and that way if i ever want to go brembo i can just swap the hub back to 5 and bolt brembos straight on.

You just remove the tacks underneath the old ball joints and press them out.
Press new ones back in and replicate the tacks that were there.

Some have circlips too which hold them in place as well as the tacks.

I used these, cost me $30 to get both pressed into my lca's.
The arms were out of the car at the time.

i asked if they would fit evo 3 i thought 2-3 were different to 1?

evo 1 arms are different but the ball joints are all the same

but to answer your original question you can use the 4 stud hub, it has a small lip that the 5 stud doesn't but it will work.

but you would then need calipers because your original calipers wont bolt onto the evo 4 knuckles (unless you plan to run evo 4 rotors and calipers with the rotor redrilled)

ahh ok thanks, ive looked for ages but everything i had read was saying evo 1 balljoints were different. so i guess ill grab a pair.

Like George said....lcas are different but balljoints are all the same...and as Rory said...they also fit his GSR.
