I was looking at the specs of the CZ Colt and noticed the stroke and bore of that 4G15 is the same as the CE version. That got me thinking:

Is it possible to put the MIVEC pistons with the 10:1 CR into my 4G15 with 9:1 CR. I can't find pics yet of what the top of the piston looks like, but I guess it could work in theory.

I know for a fact the pistons on the CE are flat with no dishing or doming.

mostlikely would be able to.. but the 1.6 mivec 4g92 might be a better option altogether.
my cuzin keeps talking about wanting to do it to her mirage as that chick that races the mirage has it..
sorry i dunno much bout mirages but that's wat i hear most mirage owners wanting to get.

I have been trying to source a 4G92 but they are thinner on the ground than you would like and due to that cost a small fortune as well when you can find one.. The CC version is more readily available but would be unsuitable.

I have done mods to my engine as it is, so was just having a ponder about a relatively cheap mod to undertake.

Probably will end up with custom ones as I would ideally want huge compression, but anything is better than 9:1

I had a look at the 4G18, and the dish is about the same but the pistons are 0.5mm wider. That would mean reboring the cylinders. For that kind of effort I would rather go custom pistons.

For all this effort wouldnt it be worth changing the 4g15 out all together!?!

+1

4G93/4G63 FTW

The only engine I would put in would be a 4G92. The Evo engine would mean I would have no hope in hell of running good times in the class.
