4G63 over bore

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

I would say you could do it, but I'm not sure how it would affect the strength of the motor.

If you are planing to go that big, build up a 2.4l block. It is at std bore 60 thou over compared to a 63, add 20 thou for your machining and you have 80 thou over. Plus the added stroke will help greatly. Rods are the same as the 63 as are bearings.

Excellent advice sounds like the voice of experience to me. You can also go 6mm longer rods with stroker pistons for an even better rod ratio as well.

thanx for the advice guys.

Well cometic has a MLS headgasket for 87mm /0.080thou for 4G63T, So i thought it must be possible 0n a 4G63 N/A.

Does 64 block bolt up to a 63 chassis with out any mods?

I've been reading about 2.4ltr stroker 0n galantvr4.org and dsmtuners.com and i thnk the 64 has to be be drilled for s0me oil squirters? ? ?

Am i right? ?

Thanx
Dasith

That is correct, but even the na 63 motor lacks the squirters. It costs about 200 give or take to machine. Then add squirters and you'll be set. All optional though for an na build.
