well, i did a search on cordia, and it seems alot of those guys are just bolting turbo's onto the sohc with good results, therefore, what steps/parts should i start taking/gathering in doing a turbo conversion.?
 
buying a vr4 engine, vr4 ecu, vr4 loom, modifying the LH mount, new clutch, new belts, fluids, plugs, leads etc

cordia box bolts up to the vr4 block. will need a new dump pipe and front pipe modified. best to upgrade the front brakes and enure that all your engine mounts are in good nick.
much better option that strapping a big ass turbo on the SOHC. the VR4 is a much better, smoother and high revving engine. plus easily modified in terms of availability of parts
 
The better option would be to buy the vr4 converted Galant GSR on carsales for 4k.


Alternatively you should save and just buy a vr4. At least then it's AWD.
