Hi Guys,

Let's have our yearly drag meet at Calder.
Although it is more expensive than Heathcote ($130.00 vs $60.00), it is closer and a faster track.

Details below:
Date: Saturday, 1st December, 2012.
Time: 10am to late.
Location: Calder Park Raceway.

I'm sure this is enough notice to get an abundant amount of Mitsu's out there. Should be plenty of notice to get the cars ready also.

Let's do it ladies.....

Il probly just rock up on the bike and race that instead an il put a 4gtuner sticker on the plate or something to represent :p

I like the sound of it. How's the setup off track? Ie pit areas, fuel station etc. Been a long time since I have been to Calder. I will definitely try to get there

i'll bring the vajero and see how fast it is down the track... i'm sure i could get a stagea to race against..

Normal test and tune with lots of 4G's. No point booking the whole track when we can't fulfil the numbers. Past statistics show that only 10% of Mitsubishi population can be running at the same time (Bazeng's law).

agreed.....

Did we want a pre meet or just head straight there?

If the Vr4 isn't ready, I'll run the AMG with my big ass front rims (17x9) with semi slicks.

Calder has BP service stations near by. Also has it's own station and sells race fuel etc. return track is now to the right and not via that dodgy dirt track to the left. Pits haven't changed. You can pickup a garage if you head in early. But they are usually available anyway.

Just letting you know in advanced,to race at calder now you HAVE to enroll via there website.
You cant just rock up and race anymore which is pretty gay..

That is a good idea ! When I last took my rotary out to Calder in December it was packed and was told that no more entries allowed. Registering early at least secures a spot if you are keen to race.

No one new about this new booking rule and Fridays meet was cancelled due to lack of entries...

Never liked how they organised things.
An this new booking system wont work well either.
130$ odd to race while heathcote is 70?
Might as well fill the car up an head to heathcote an make a day out of it.
Speaking on racing on my own etc.
Not for the 4g meet.
