$5550 rebuild cost for 4g93t

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Heheh that was the reason for my second line :D My goals have always been to take it to a level where the driveline will survive the abuse dished out by the driver/engine.
That thing would throw that all out the window :D

its hardest thing to have both reliability and performance to work well together haha... more reliability the less performance... the more performance the less reliability... You can have the following Cheap / Fast / Reliable but you can only choose two :p

Thats a lot of $$ right there and $13,700AU just to start with non stroker. You're paying for the name and experience in building the motor basically. By the time you get the thing landed in Australia it'll be more around the $17,000AU mark. Sometimes the engine is worth more than the car lol. But looking at that list I reckon it could be done for half the cost, or get a reputable Aussie builder to build you one which will most definitely include intake and turbo mods/parts for the same price. :)

I'll choose: Fast / Reliable

+1 for fast and reliable.........BUT, fast is a different thing to a lot of people,

when I took out the 4g93 in my red car and put in a std evo 2 4g63......i thought it was a rocket sled!! but then when I sunk the boot into the 6 bolt 4g63 forged motor in the white car it made the red car feel so slow.

I think a well built 4G93 can be fast too....young guy over here just got a 12.6 quarter with a standard bottom end and evo bolt ons.

to quote an old movie.....speed is just a question of money, how fast can you afford to go?
