6 Bolt 4g63.
gt30/40. stock bottom end. unknown injectors. 040 fuel pump. Haltech e6k.
320ish hp. What do I do next? and what can I expect?
Want to run 10s.
haltech ps1000? Cams? e85?
Thanks for any replies.

Google for a awd power speed calculator. Enter you weights and hp and you will get a 1/4 mph. From that you can work your et. Keep adding hp (or dropping weight) till you get a et you want. Then you know the hp, you can work out how much boost you need.

you will struggle to run reliable 10s on a std manual gearbox. Engine wise- i think your gt30 will get there, e85 is 20% more power, stock rods/pistons is marginal but has been done.

i think you would be needing 400hp at least (300awkw) and e85 will get you 380hp with a boost increase then you need a bit more boost on top of that.

10s is bloody fast. Yknow you meant to have a cage and chute to run legally at drags when that fast.

how fast are you now and what 60' times

The first thing you need, which is presumably why you are here, is a plan.
To do this you need parts that will work together to deliver the power you want. I'm repeating things a bit but,
Injectors big enough to deliver enough E85 to make the required power.
Well built head with good cams on adjustable wheels so you can dial them in, and light valve train so it can rev.
Porting will help. Casting clean up more than anything else. As you probably know, 6 bolt ports are big already so you need to know where to grind or flow will be worse.
Ideally a forged bottom end, so you don't kill the engine if you make a mistake while tuning the thing.
Intake and exhaust paths must not have any restrictions, including the intercooler.
Good clutch to handle the grunt and a lightend flywheel couldn't hurt.
Less weight.
A healthy drive train.
Lots of research in general and on set ups doing the times you are after. Do not trust people on forums that know a guy who did 10s. DSM (USA) sites will help.
Most importantly $$$$$$$$ doing it right won't be cheap.

1. Make sure all maintainance items are down first. Timing belt and bearings, water pump.
No oil leaks.

Make sure you have plenty of fuel delivery capacity and run a fairly conservative afr even on E85.
VR4 1st gear will be a shredded mess after a few decent launches with good power.
Probably followed closely by the centre diff gears.
The 3 bolt diff will be next to shit itself.

A 10 sounds easy but as mentioned above it's actually bloody had to crack.
I have the mph but could never pedal the bloody thing off the line fast enough so I've changed to an auto setup.
I wouldn't bother taking too much advice from those that know how to do it in theory but have never hopped into the pool.
As mentioned look at some of the dsm sites and study what successful guys have done.

If you want to double check any decisions before you make them feel free to pm me mate.

Tim aka brisvr4 has helped me with my build and definetely knows first hand what's up. Also is happy to help where possible.

Andra regs have cahged a car that came factory 4 wheel dosk brakes and airbags can do 10's without cage. Any other needs cage i beleive a chute isnt needed until you crack 150mph

Take an 11second drag plan then multiply that by 10. 11seconds is challenging once you get that work on getting yourself consistent then see about extra power and drive mods to being you into the 10s.

My goal is an 11 second pass i know im long way off yet

I think you will find that the changes were implemented by Willowbank and not Andra Kyle.
Andra still requires a 1/2 cage min for vehicles under 10.99.
Willowbank changed their own rule for test and tunes only.
And it's 140mph for a chute.

While Willowbank Raceway has introduced newStreet vehicles regulations, Willowbank Raceway is operating all events including Test n Tunes and Street Series as an ANDRA member track and all ANDRA licenced vehicles /driver/riders must abide by the current ANDRA rule book at all Events.

As they should but try to run under 11 at an Andra event without a cage and see how fast they boot ya!

And Jack, you can have a 1/2 cage between 10.00 and 10.99.
9.99 and faster needs a full cage.

To run 10's......
