93t cutting out

I have a 93t with 390cc injectors standard fpr I just put in a evo 8 fuel pump but when tested it, it cuts out feels like its spitting hard ...is it over pumping and the injectors are to small and need to upgrade? or is the pump bad? or is the ecu cutting the fuel ? Or can it be that its to rich flooding the engine and the fpr can't handle it ?

I would like people's thoughts on it

first go back and check every thing you did. also check you havent crimped any pipes while fitting the pump in particular the one on top of the pump cradle.

if that doesnt fix the issue...try another FPR.

Everything's put in fine I which it back to a 93 dohc pump and it boosts to 15 no problems I put a free ebay looking fpr now it won't even spike the gauge on it and car won't click over but I can here the pump winding

Change it back to stock one part at a time and work out what part is pooped.

The fpr is rubbish I put money it's blocking the fuel but this is the 2nd pump that's shit it I put a 93t gsr pump in and it was cutting out like it was flooding so I dunno
