A qestion for haltech owners

iv got a e6x in my vr4, runs everything.. ie no stock computer

atany rpm point when fre revving there is a noticable misfire, also on idle as well.

the car makes power no problem, well the misfire doesnt get any worse anyway cos its not noticable under load.

would it be a tuning issue?

what else could cause this kinda behaviour?

it appears its a coil pack issue


it was getting really hot (to touch) the other day & started intermittenly turning the car off, I let it cool down & it was alright to get me home

im going to mount it somewhere else this time so its not hanging off the motor, not that its much cooler anywhere else in these engine bays!

Get an RS bonnet.

im going to put spacer under the bonnet hinges, hopefully let the heat flow through instead of lingering in there !

i'd love a black rs bonnet but their hard to find!

big vent

ive got one but its a "little dented" lol car was rolled and i bought the front cut!! jap spec RS version going into my lil mitsubishi nimbus / chariot

the great thing bout the bus is that the bonnet opens backwards....so u can pop the hood and it lifts the back up slightly (about 2-3 cm's) which is better than any vents ive seen lately!! and stays down at speed (did 170 with stocko engine and no probs) i love it!! 8)

graate fo those sweltering days!

oh and does anyone no where to get mod plates from? and what u need them for (the stock engine in the nimbus is a 4G63 but its carbied SOHC sirius non turbo! (gayness)
