Update on this story, I read that it was a P-plater driving, but they only had their L licence at the time when they were found.
Also the reason why they had overloaded the car was that they were fleeing a party which had been crashed. They were supposably afraid of being attacked.
It stil doesn't explain why the impact of the crash was so strong..
