Well ok I'm thinking about upgrading afue things In my stock evo 5 but I don't really no what some good upgrades are
Anything from power to just general running

Not much you can do without spending lots for power gains. Maybe a pill drill and ecu re-tune.
If you want a buzz from the car you need to take it to the track but watch out you'll eventually be up for $1000's

Best mod these days I reckon is to fit a cruise control.
I got busted for doing 104km/h on eastlink a while ago and that's a waste of money IMO.

Alright well money's not a problem anymore what mods will be good for some power gain on a stock engine

full exhaust with a good dump/front pipe (preferably split style)
MR bov
good panel filter
hot side cooler pipe
walbro 255
tune

So full exhaust like extractors and all the way back or just like a turbo back exhaust

Um why a mr bov and a hot side cooler pipe ?

bov will hold the boost better and the hotside pipe helps with response and spool

After all the above is already installed on your car you can add:

3 port boost valve (allow's ecu to handle more boost efficiently)
A COP (Coil on plug) Kit also helps smooth out idle and power up top....
Upgrade Cams are getting relatively cheap for the Evo4-9 as a lot of people are going to 2.4 set up....
After market intercooler and cold side pipe (Plazmaman/AMS/AVO/etc) again increases spool and handles more boost...
