have been lurking around here for a while and dont post much at all. mainly a reader trying to find info about my 2 toys. 1 is a CC lancer with 4G63T conversion. its fun to drive, the other is a Galant Vr4 which is where my problems lie.

the car has this .

bottom end
* CP piston's and rings
* 9:1 comp ratio
* Eagle rods
* Acl Race Series Bearings
* Arp main and head studs
* Cometic mls head gasket and full Cometic gasket kit
* Crank scrapper and all balanced.

Top end and timing gear ect
* full rebuild with Crower 272 cams
* Crower springs and titanium retainers
* 3g lifters
* Tomei Adjustable Cam Gear
* Power house enterprise timing belt
* all new idlers and water pump
* balance shafts removed, oil pump checked all in spec, front mount oil cooler.

Turbo, intake, intercooler and exhaust
*new genuine Big 16g and 2.5inc divorce dump pipe
* 3in dump back with magna flow cat
* 3in resonator and no name muffler
* PWR water to air 600hp barrel with custom end tanks
* Greddy blow off valve full plumb back into 3in stainless intake with air alloy air box and drift pod.

Fuel system and electronics
* Walbro intank
* 560cc Evo 8 injectors
* AEM fuel pressure reg, Speed flow fittings
* Adaptronic e420c with 3bar map sensor
* Coil over plug ignition
* Gizzmo electronic boost controller.

so its got some good gear in it. i think the let down is the turbo which is what im looking at the moment. i have bought some 700cc injectors a big bosch pump and swirl pot.
i dont want to spend millions, (well im not allowed) on the thing and as much as i would like a big garrett roller its not going to happen. the car may end up as a daily driver, but currently isnt. i have been looking at some kandos dynamics turbos.

option 1

tried and tested. car ran 12.5 with pretty much 1 of these.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbochar...item3f0bd646ec

option 2

bigger
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbochar...item415b92e9bd

option 3.

stupidly big

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbochar...item415b92e8c5

now as much as i would love to go option 3. im not sure if it will suit the motor. it will make stupid horsepower but will it be a pig and which will break first, gearbox or drive shafts. are the injectors and fuel pump big enough. will the factory manifolds be the ultimate limiting factor for power. i would like in the high 200 awkw. which should be very achievable. is 300kw being too optimistic.

im thinking option 2. not sure what sorta power these things will make.

throw some ideas at me. left field even. i know people will think the adaptronic is shit, but it was on the car. its brand new, and i couldnt be bothered trying to replace it for not a huge amount of gain, well in my opinion anyway.

the other option is to rip it all out and shove it in my daily driven fwd cc lancer and run 14's @ 140mph.

cheers

The TD06SL2-20g looks good on paper but 2 peopl ive spoklen to have got them and they don't build over 20psi till 4500.
That seems pretty sluggish considering an old school FP Green seems to get full boost like over 20psi around 3800-4000 from my reading on the us tuning forums.
Its a TD06H wheel (a stock mitsi wheel that is larger than a TD06SL2, which if i remember is a trust/aftermarket wheel, but check the blade count of each, i think an SL2 is meant to flow more, still a 06H wheel is much larger than a TD05 wheel even though its old school), in a stock 070 housing (16g housing) with a 50 trim compressor wheel which is slightly larger than a 20g. This isnt saying this is then best turbo but is one example of almost identical or slightly more flow potential in a faster spooling setup. These TD06SL2 20g's from Kando seem quite laggy for what they are.

This is one example there are plenty more in similar flow range than spool around or before 4000 on a 2L in a lot of setups. A PTE 50 Trim, now superseded by the new range. BW 256, holset HX35 are a few examples. Or get a TD06 20g or a TD05 20g whit a clipped exhaust wheel, a bit hacked but they work, from on of the American places (lots of these making them) that used genuine parts not an ebay special.
