Hey i just got an E6X second hand with PNP loom for an EVO123. When the guy removed the loom he cut the haltech Boost control solenoid wiring. Do you happen to know where this goes into the pnp loom? Im assuming into the white wire cos thats the only one free. Also, the loom has 2 plugs, 1 white plug with 5 pins and 1 plug with 3 pins labled CBA (im assuming this one is map) however i spoke to a haltech person and he said the white 5 pin plug controls air temp and also map ?... confused??

Also i have a 3 bar map sensor (external unit) it has 3 pin female plug labbled CBA also, but the one on the pnp loom is also a female... does that mean i will need a male plug soldered to the pnp loom to make it work?

Jon, read my posts in this thread from the start and it'll answer your map sensor and air temp sensor question - they go into the white plug with 5 wires. I've included pics as well.

The other triple ABC plug is a trim connector. There's manuals and diagrams you can download from Haltech website you newb lol :p

The boost solenoid wires were cut and should connect to the other side of that cut wire you are talking about.

Heres the diagram that came with my E8 that might help you.

LOL its a long as thread...

im still confused on the boost control solenoid... it has 2 wires from it but it only has 1 wire back into the loom? like is there one missing or something??????? Just opened up the patch loom up to have a look... PIN 4 (black with blue stripe) has been cut and a white wire has been soldered to it, the other end of the piece looks like it hasnt had anything on it...... might have to ring up haltech and ask them what pin 4 is and does the boost control solenoid go in there... (makes sense if it does but by looking at it doesnt look like it...

also the patch loom is a H6XPEVO123 not a H8PEVO123 if that makes any dif.

Also why the fuck would you have 2 plugs on the loom if 1 you dont even use?.,..... !!!!!

looks like ill have to order that 5 pin connector, a temp sensor and the rest of the loom so i can hook up my 3 bar map sensor...

Jon
