I'd be interested in what brand these are?
Its local, 12mth warranty and are AUD 299.00

Pictured above is for Evo1.

Yeah same, i have considered one of these for when the stock plastic tank goes to shit,
Question is, are these any better than flowing/cooling the engine than the stock ones?, theyre getting cheaper these days, and harder to ignore when it comes time to replace a radiator.

Id rather it be exact dimensions as a stock one if possible so it gives more clearance to turbo manifolds :)

I've bought an ASI one.
It claims to give an extra 30% cooling efficiency over stock.
havnt installed it yet.
but yes, they are better. :)

hey libz are those made in AUS? If so, thats a pretty damn good price.
And would a radiator to suit cd9a be different to that suited for a ce9a?

This one pictured is not a ASI radiator these are locally fabbed up but core is from OS, the reason I'm thinking of going this one is I sold off my ASI one for same price I paid for it.
Reason: after the radiator cap is different type to CD CE9A factory one, also the welding on ASI's look like a blind retard welded them up, also the tabs for rad fan arent in the correct position:(

The ones I posted are far superior than the ASI radiators and they list for Evo1 / GSR & Evo II & III and fits oem evo rad caps :D.

ahh ok.
did you get a cap with it tho?
hmm havnt discovered the fan problem yet, looks like ill be buying a new one soon :(

i wouldnt be using the asi cap, they're crap

i had to fit a slim fan to clear the turbo too but my standard fan did bolt up properly

is there a site i can have a look of them libero?
they are on ebay ;)

As for the OEM fan bracket I know of 4 people that had issues with fan mounting locations maybe the first batch ASI made the jig wasn't in the correct place for OEM fan mounting

i bought mine about 18 months ago, so it was one of the first batches.

i have seen a honda one though that had fan mounts that were not flat that we had to mod to fit so they are not perfect thats for sure but they are good value for money

i think the cores are 40mm rob.

also i cant find any info to say they are put together in oz? and justjap do source alot of parts overseas too.

Thats ok...I dont plan to run the fans on the inside of the engine bay anyway:)

my mate has just put a cooling pro rad in his bug eye and it seems pretty decent so far, does a good job of keep temps steady so far.
