Yay, I won! I am sorry to hear about your clutch woes though.
Unfortunately, this is common for cheap ass clutches. XTD is Ebay junk. Be happy that you didn't destroy your input shaft, or have the clutch disk scatter when the hub failed.
From personal experience, I would recommend a South Bend Clutch SS-Series pressure plate with TZ-Series Kevlar full-face sprung-hub clutch disk. It is a good clutch, and I have good experiences with SBC clutches on our vehicles. The SS-series pressure plate has a clamping force around 2050#, meaning that it has a soft pedal feel, but the clutch can still handle around 450-500 TQ easily. If you want a bit more agressive clutch setup, then I would go with the SS-X pressure plate (~2200#) that can handle around 600 TQ with the TZ-series clutch disk while still being gentle on your crank's thrust bearing.
