another problem with the gsr

hi all,
cars been nothing but a major headache since i bought it, and i still havent even got it registered..
another issue with it now,
when i take off at the lights in first, the car is soo slow, it feels like im taking off in 3rd gear.. but when it reaches about 5000rpms, boost kicks in and it goes, when i shift to 2nd, its still slow until higher rpms, i took my car to a gearbox mech (another issue again) and he just goes, your engine sounds stuffed, sounds like low end problem...
what is low end problem? im ready to pour petrol over this car and send it to hell. and theres this weird loud noise, seems like its comming from the timing belt (i assume, facing the car and on the right side).

Does it feel incredibly sluggish. What you describe sounds similar to my problem ATM
I went around fixed all exhaust leak and vac leaks. Still no difference. I believe it's the turbo. I'm waiting on a rebuild kit to swap over to confirm. But the turbo has shaft play. If you push it down it makes the shaft really hard to turn

yeah sweet, sms me whenever your free. my working hours is from 4am till 6-7pm..i dont get home until 7.30pm..dinners on me..vietnamese in springy craps over westside food...beleaa that because i used to live in the west

sounds like a blocked cat, maybe.

blocked cat, bad valve timing, bad ignition timing, low compression, too many mates in the back.... these are the common problems i find...

Maybe even a faulty oxygen sensor not reading exhaust temps properly until higher in the rpm range when it gets hot enough?
Timing out of whack?
Start the process of ellimination.

start with a wet and dry compression test. it will show if engine is shagged or not

maybe check for metal in the sump oil too, how long has it had the 'low end' noise?
