Hi all,

Just curious if anyone is building there GSR 1.8ltr.
Most people just go for the straight 2ltr conversion. Just wanted to know if anyone has decided to build there 1.8ltr.

I hope i aint the only one LoL :wink:

from what I gather..... nothing to the same extent as yours!

I havent done much yet at all, just waiting for a few bits and pieces and ill post specs/ pics in members rides.
 
Good to see SOME people arent throwing out the 1.8ltr :lol: and simply converting it into a 2ltr.

I think people are now just starting to see the poetential these lil luggers have, and the competetion for 1.8ltr is getting a lil hot which is awesome :twisted:

GSRSOL would love to hear what mods u have done to you car so hurry and post specs up on members rides, and that goes for all other 1.8ltr owners, dont be afraid :p
 
a mates just got bolt ons..
gt25 / ecu / intercooler etc etc

he makes 150 kw's at all wheels..
12 psi

not too bad..

but he's now moved onto the s15..
he likes it much better

No not the case,
And no CREATD lancer is not stroked still retains it 1.8ltr capacity as is MINE 8) .
Whats the point in stroking them, might as well put a 2ltr in them.

The CREATD lancer made 350kw on 32psi. Fiesty lil car and has the MPH (134) to go with a 2ltr.

Everything is possible no need for a 2ltr....

well, I got my coupe converted to the GSR 1.8ltr, only has boltons at the moment, 3" zorst, FMIC, pod.. thats about it really, hopefully somewhere down the track I'll throw a bigger turbo on it..

oh yeah, and my car is still in FWD mode :)

Hey guys - interesting topic.

We have planned to get a 2ltr although still open to option of upgrading 1.8ltr. The car is obviously going to be used for tarmac rally so needs to be tuff 8)

At the moment she has evo cooler 2" cat-back 'pipe' (no muffler although CAMS are forcing us to get one :cry: ), and a few other basic mods.

Any advice? If you had a relatively stock GSR what would you do based on your experiences? Take into accoun that this is rally car - not street...
 
Build that engine,
The rods are like tooth picks LoL

Then basic bolt on, turbo, computer injectors.....OIL COOLER
But engine would be No. 1 on my list
