If you have any business with me or are currently considering anything, please finalise it by Friday 18th August (if something needs to be sold/shipped) or failing that, Sunday 20th August.

I am leaving the country on Tuesday 22nd August and will not return until Tuesday 3rd October.

In my absence, the mod team will be picking up the slack. Admin related queries (IE Password losses, dead accounts, etc) can be PMed to jase and he will deal with them at his leisure or at all.

Upon my return, you can expect some more sweeping changes that are in the pipeline. Just because I don't have a VR4/Evo anymore doesn't mean I don't love you guys!

My mobile phone will be on global roaming for the worlds most catastrophic disasters (like the forum gets hacked or dies for more than 3 hours). I should in most cases still have internet access at least briefly, but I can't promise you anything.

For those of you who this doesn't affect, I apologise for wasting your precious reading time.

Cheers,
Lawrence

Where you off to lorrie? Thailand or the Philipines? Maybe Ukraine or the Czech Republic??

I hope you find love

Melbourne -> Singapore -> Dubai -> Vienna

Rome -> Dubai -> Sydney -> Melbourne

Mum's currently in Manila, but I will meet her in Vienna. Spending 5 weeks in Europe. Where we'll be is anyone's guess (Somewhere in Germany, Austria or Italy)

Gauge pods I have no idea about. Barry never got back to me regarding the mould that he's half finished after a couple of phone calls. I didn't follow it up any further, feel free to pick up where I left off.

Hey Baz... i'm scheduled to goto the US at the end of the year or maybe early next year. Trying to avoid the snow. I'll see what I can do then ok? :p

Ok ladies and gents,

Have a great time. Don't burn the place down while i'm gone.

See you all in october or so.

If something -serious- happens, the mods know how to contact me.

Ok... so we went to Vienna for 4 days and bummed around looking at the sights and all that stuff. (Build up points with mum whom i'm with)...

We arrived here at my mum's hometown and my cousin (couple of times removed or something and/or married on) is a CRAZY MERCEDES NUT who is high up at Audi.

So we went for a very very long drive.

One Audi RS6 Avant and one trip to.... ok. Only one choice here. Where would YOU take an RS6 Avant in Germany?

So we were there for a whole day and nearly killed ourselves a couple of times. He took the car back to his work to fit a new set of tyres which were rather... rooted.

It rains here. A lot.

Oh, that Audi was his company car. :p

Anyway, off to Stuttgart. Mercedes HQ etc, dropping by Munich and BMW HQ on the way back, then heading north to Ingolstadt and Audi HQ.

Cheers!

Great to see your visiting the decent countries in Europe :D

Vienna is awesome! Love the Beck's and Bratwursts as you walk through the street there. The Sacha Torte isn't bad either

Have a look at the massive Merc place in Munich, bit of an eye-opener!

The BMW museum in Munchen is also pretty cool but it's been scaled down while they build the new museum.

Have fun :)

:D You better bloody well use that Autobahn to your full advantage while you are there.

We want to see speedo pics too :p :D

We're skipping Munich and going straight to Stuttgart where Mercedes and more importantly Porsche are. The hotel we've booked is DIRECTLY across the road from Porsche. I'll be a very photo happy person.

Be in Modena for 4 days too.... Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani.

I'm NEVER going to complain about petrol again. Fuel over here is the equivalent of 2.36 a LITRE for 98 octane.

You can't miss Munich!
I just did.

But we might go back for a few minutes.

It's impossible to get into the BMW factory without 6 month in advance bookings so there's no reason for me to go there.
