Hey Guys

Just a general inquiry based on how many RVR members are on here wat have you all paid for your RVR's??

as i struggle to see them at all in NZ even the auto ones lol

$4500 transported from another state and put on the road.

I see plenty advertised, but never many on the road. Maybe 1 or 2 within 6 months.
I see more Astons and Ferraris on a daily basis...

aye?! you struggle to see them in NZ? there must be 20,000 of them or more in NZ and all very cheap!
as for AUS, well id be lucky to have seen one.

Sorry should have been more specific, i was just refering to the Turbo RVR but yes you are correct the NA ones are very common especially now that i have that type of car i see them alot more often lol

i paid for too much for mine (6k) and its a piece of shit that has caused nothing but problems.

got almost everyhting sorted now though.

i paid $8800 for mien with rebuilt motor (with receipts) and pretty damn happy with it minus the oil leaks...grrr

10k down from an advertised 12k....prob still a tad high since most struggle to move for more than 8-9 now but to be honest, i couldn't be happier with it, really the HSG is the ultimate bang for buck imo ;-)

$9300 for mine
Auto was built a bit tougher than normal though I'm doing another rebuild on it soon to make it tougher again
Tow Ball
83000km (now 99000km)
A few minor scratches
3" Turbo-back
and all the little bits.

Bought mine 12 months ago for $8000.00. 1995 model with bullbar, driving lights, towbar and 10 stacker CD player.

So happy with the car that it looks like I will be buying another one this weekend for the wife.

man they do sound pretty rare with you guys not seeing many of them yet alot on this forum lol

i piad $3500 for mine about 18months ago 120000kms, completely factory unmollested manual SSG, have things changed since lol

i suppose the average AUS income is higher than the average NZ income

$3.5K good work! I see soooooooo many imports when i head over there.....the best are the totally obscure ones we never see here.
Saw plenty of rvr's tho...but you're right, not many turbo models and most were pretty rough. :(

haha yeah they are awesome! my parents owned a GSR one in silver for yrs when I was a kid, then upgraded to an e35a MX, then to the twin turbo V6 VR4 finally!

if you've got someone in NZ to look after the car, you onnly have to own it for 12 months to be able to bring it in as a personal import :p

Problem is don't live in NZ, and the cars over there I see on trademe have had a hard life.
The occasional gsr-x comes up, but in the end my wagon conversion does the same job, found a front cut of one over here in Aus.

I beat you all.
I purchased a white HSGR manual with 24000km in 2002.

Paid $30000 :)

Now it looks like a golf ball...... Currently in court regarding that issue!
