IMHO the problem with the Evo 6.5 isn't the ride... It's the VIBRATION and NOISE!
My '99 Evo 6 RS2 had a much smoother ride than my '96 4wd 1800 GSR (CM5A.)

The 1800 GSR is the HARSHEST car that I ever drove! Every pothole is an EXPLOSION! that
rattles your teeth. I ruptured three 215/40 x 17" tyres in four months... The WORST!

With the Evo 6, vibration and noise (bigger exhaust) are the biggest problems I have.
It makes you feel tired very quickly. I'll solve vibration issues with FoamSeal expanded
urethane foam... and noise with intermediate resonator.

BTW if you have never driven an E6 with the optional 4.875 gear ratio...You have never lived!
Swapped original engine and optional box to try a spare E7 engine and box... BIG mistake!
The car feels totally DEAD now. The difference is almost as big as stock 4wd GSR to stock Evo 6.
Can't wait to upgrade E6 and re-install original box.
ZERO MILAGE with 4.875... but she FLIES! :lol:
