Availability of Evo 1/2 front bumpers

Like the title says, I'm not looking to buy (just yet), just wanting info.

I've spent the last couple of days trawling through yahoo auctions looking for an evo 1/2 front bumper, but found nothing. I saw a few evo 3 front bars, but they're mangled to all hell.

I expected the early evo bars would be hard to find these days,so would like to know if anyone knows if there are fibreglass copies available anywhere?

There is a thread on here somewhere about a guy over WA who was doing fibreglass evo 1 or 2 front bar, I think someone had his contact details but couldn't get a hold of him. Someone else on here will know the full story.

Have you tried trademe in NZ?

Theres 2 on there (trademe), but think they were just the covers, ie. No reo or mesh,
One is $120 and the other was $180, both need a repair or 2 from a plastic welder

Yeah, that's the conclusion I have come too as well. Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out, maybe I'll find one one day.

I'm aware of this. Fenders, I'm pretty sure, are still available brand new.

Other issue with Yahoo auctions is that bumpers are too big to ship to Australia. I looked at getting an HKS kansai one a year or so back.

Even Exhausts aren't possible.

Perhaps Malaysia is an option if you can find someone who will ship. Won't be cheap though. When I went to KL a couple of years ago looking for parts, there was very little left. What was there was stuffed. The wreckers said that the parts cars were too expensive in Japan, so they were struggling to buy them.
