AWD to FWD conversion?

I've effed up and bought an auto RVR to transplant engine and gearbox into my UF nimbus. Problem is The RVR is AWD.

What are my options?

What are the disadvantages with welding up the centre diff?

In FWD, there are no disadvantages, just makes the box ALOT stronger lol

Are the FWD vs AWD front axles different on these vans? Because they are different in DSMs...

I don't know Leon. I haven't seen RVR fwd axles to compare them. The awd axles & cvs handle it ok so far.
Are the fwd axles thicker than awd ones over there ? Cheers !

FWD axles have larger splines going into the front diff, also AWD DS axle has an intermiduim shaft, and FWD has one long axle.

So the FWD diff must be the 27 spline that Quaife make one for. I use the Quaife for the Eclipse AWD 25 spline.

Yeah I was buying an Evo VII GTA but my funds weren't enough etc.
Not to worry, my RVR will match the 4 gears of a GTA.
