you can but then you get to get an mechnical diff... not as easy as it sounds.. i priced it up around 6K... its not as easy as jsut changing the diff you need housing and the lot... and very hard to find an rs housing
not sure if this is relevant, but you can ofcourse just remove the fuse. I dont have time to bleed and replace the fluid in my legnum, so I just took the fuse out.
yeah i have also seen that motec sell a controler so you can turn the car into like RWD 40/60 50/50 60/40 and fwd or somthing like that it is from the evo 9 but they state it can be wired to evo 6s

It will not work in an evo 6. The AYC controls power from left to right. The Motec controller that your talking about adjusts the ACD which controls power from front to rear. Evo 6's do not have ACD, we run an open centre diff.
Yeah i no this i was talking to motec it is a rumor going around alot of sites selling the item saying it can control the AYC but yeah motec confirms it can not
dont worry im still thinking about removing the AYC i just need to find the RS items so i can save some weight
Getting the RS parts is not hard i have found heaps for sale (in japan)
just trying to make the choice i may just get the cusco LSD for my car as they make LSD for a AYC evo
I think the deciding factor for me would be the availability of spare breakable parts - if the RS diff uses the same driveshafts I'd go that way, especially if your car is a daily.
