bad batch of fuel?

has anyone lately had a bad batch of fuel?? the exat same place i have been going to BP on Hume Hwy, for almost 4 years. this is the first time my car has run like sheit on there fuel.....

dad also got a bad batch at Shell in our Landcruiser....

we both run 98+, just wondering if anyone else has gotten screwed by any petroll station??

only guys i'm yet to be screwed by is Mobil.....

I put a tank of 98 in my Integra maybe a week ago from BP Stud Rd/High Street Rd and it was baaad. Ran like absolute shit. Ended up draining the tank and going for regular unleaded from Safeway and it was fine again.

Bp have giving me bad fuel and mobile also, and that vpower is hopeless

I use caltex 98 vortex in both my cars and never had a problem

testing out the V power atm, iv used the Mobil and BP in car since i have had it, but the Vpwr seems to be doin well even with my timing, although it smells a lil bit... i'll end up trying the Vortex next... good thing most of the stations nere my house are close to new..

I have had some bad ultimate of late too,car seems to be down slightly on power and been getting a shitty brown stain on my bumper...my tuner reckons the stain looks like it may be caused by a fuel additive??

i've had the same problem with shell petrol, my car seems to break down higher into the rev range, it pings a bit, and runs like ass... I havnt had any trouble with mobil or BP fuel.

I've tried the castrol Vortex 98 and i was pretty pleased with it, the only issue is that there arnt many servo's that do carry it.

Could it be in the fuel straight from the pump? as i have only ever ran ultimate in the car and never added octane booster.

Yep thats what mine used to do - ran fine under no real load, but when you put your foot down it would just choke up and run horrible - like at least a 60% decrease in power! I ended up having to get the injectors and fuel system cleaned and then it was fine ...

funny thing is, the Civic loves shell petrol, but id still never use it after what happened with the GSR ...
