Has anyone done a battery relocation and if so is it hard i like to try on my sports gear!!!! will i have fumes if i ran it the right side compartment of the car and the back passenger side!!!???

Ive done it in my Lancer GSR...its pretty easy man......Hardest part is getting the 2 guage wire thru the rubber grommet in the firewall!!!
Just be sure to insulate all joins etc and ensure no sections of the cables are rubbing anywhere on the body.....Some people have a fuse/circuit breaker just after the battery to be extra sure.....You will also need some sort of junction box at the front to rehouse all the cables from positive side of battery...Some say to run them from starter motor, but I wouldnt....

^ Theres a good start!! If you buy it elsewhere you will pay anywhere from $12-$15 a metre for the right cable.... If you need any pics of what I've done at the front just let me know, I'll post em up for ya to have a squiz at.....

There is a few things I want you to do if you're relocating!.

1) INSTALL AN EASY TO ACCESS KILL SWITCH FROM THE GROUND.
2) INSTALL A KILL SWITCH FROM THE GROUND
3) DONT FORGET THE KILL SWITCH FROM THE GROUND.

the number of people who relocate batteries and don't put a kill switch on for safety is just beyond me. If I do my relocation, I'm installing a special pull wire which will be inside the full filler cap which when pulled kills the battery. The Reason? If you have a crash, or something is going bad, it's easy to kill the battery.

Running it in the car is fine, but it needs to be vented atmospherically, so a simple breather pipe to the outside of the car is fine. I've seen many car Audio places put batteries in and run a 1/4" clear pipe outside the car from the box! It's legal and easy.
