BC Racing Coilovers

Had this pop up on one of the forums... have asked for more detail in plain English :blink:. Will be interesting to see if its a one off case, the cause of smacking in to something etc.

I purchased a set BC coilovers on May 2008 and installed the kit in my car . I only drive my car for daily work, and have put it approximately 4000 miles.

I drove my car on highway with my family last Sunday, all of a sudden, I had this happen to me after the car was out of control (see the attached images).

Holly s#!t, it was ridiculous!! The product is a crap, I am going to sue this company for this s#!t product.

That thread has been copied and pasted over numerous car forums by the same user and appears to be a load of rubbish.
The struts have been incorrectly installed without enough thread holding them together.

Its a bit like the snapped Crower cam fiasco a while back... pffft... just because one person didnt install it properly doesnt mean the rest are fukd and going to break too. If more of this thing starts happening to BC's then there's cause for concern.

Aaah the pig flu! It's an epidemic and we're all going to die! ... yeah right. Now's a good time for a cheap cruise! lol

BC appear to have extended their ER (external reservoir) range to the Evo 1-3... This is BC's top of the range coilover. I am confident that they will be a great piece of suspension when you compare it with others in that price range...
