Big rotors

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Luke, they are a top notch rotor to say the least. Well worth the coinNot a floater like the PFs but X3E rotors are also very good, they too have a curved vane designWith an alloy hat, just gives another option

324mm Nissan R32GTR rotors & R33 twin pot calipers under Enkie Tarmacs (tight fit) with a 3mm spacer for breathing room.

No issue with brake balance with stockies on the rear..

I have a thread on Evo Oz detailing it..

I also looked at Evo X discs but they are too big for the (cheaper) calipers available.

I have a set of AP 330mm with AP 4 spot calipers on front.

you don't want to know the price but I have a set of 17" wheels and there is 4mm clearence. (not ideal)

but they are 4 stud 4/114 standard GSR/VR4
have been thinking about the rears but on track don't seem to have any real braking issues.

although wondered how much of a difference 300mm would make on rear in the whole scheme of things.

at the moment my big splitter on the front and standard GSR spoiler on rear is probably more of an issue.with lift off overstear than my brakes

is there an easy upgrade for GSR 4 stud rears?

Rear 300mm brembo rotors and twin piston calipers would be a nice match for the APs I reckon, only requires a redrill to 4 stud and a custom/Techsport/racefab bracket.

Out of interest how thick are the front rotors on the AP kit?
They seem to run quite thin rotors considering the size, might be to keep the weight down?
