OK.. So how much for 8k ones delivered to 2224.. And what bulb do I need for a cc Lancer? The car is in the panel shop, so I can't check...

so what brand are these kits???

i dont get the whole number thing, im guessing the pic is the different bulbs you can get? but i dont get the whole H1, H3, H3C, H4, H4-hi/lo, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H13 HB4(9006), HB3(9005), D2C

if the pic thing is the bulbs i would like the 6000k ones as they are just before blue and will keep me from getting defected.

If you worried about getting defected, isnt putting HID globes in lenses designed for standard halogen globes illegal.

Are these just the new bulb and supporting gear or whole new lens to focus the HID beam?

I was under the impression that <4000K was the cut off for colour, go more blue and its illegal. Any of the catalog's ive looked at for halogen globes after 4000K they dont say "adr approved" (adr 51). Or have the E1 stamp. (European standard which we follow)

Im pretty sure HID's need a different type of lens so they dont throw the more intense light out everywhere, and blind people. A cop will be able to spot it pretty easily. Cos ive seen cars with HID's in standard lenses and it blinds you.

Cars that came with HID's standard have a much more focused beam so oncoming traffics not blinded.

If you dont care about getting defected, who cares!

Its the type of bulb, the most common is H4 if you have Hi/low beam on the one globe or if its separate H1 and/or H7.

i havent yet to date seen anyone defected with hids but yes a proper halogen projector is ideal but thats life sometimes.

can we get some pics of the ones in your car Tenji?? do they look any different in daylight with the lights off? as in looking into the headlights do they look any different?

also still wanting to know what brand they are.

cheers

if you're worried about your car being defected, just buy a camry and be done with it :).
