What would I need for it to be done, does the front and rear hubs with brakes bolt into the GSR or can I only use the hub for (5stud) and make up brackets for the calipers. As I would like to run the std enkai wheels to :)

There's a pretty extensive thread on how to do this on EVO-OZ which explains the different ways to do this. It's under EVO1-3 technical and do a search.

From what I've gathered though from looking into this myself - the fronts are not that difficult but the rears are a little trickier as the handbrake setup is different (hydraulic as opposed to cable).

Rear offset on the disk is also different its been done but its definitely not a case of getting the E4 stuff and it just bolts on there are custom brackets and different disc's, different bearings ect.

Not so, the handbrake on the Brembo equipped Evos is also cable operated. They're an internal drum inside the disc hat, operated by the cable. To fit Brembos to the rear you'll need all of the hardware for this, along with custom brackets to bolt the calipers to. As above, the fronts are easy.

The only thing is you'll need to have your rims to clear the brakes front and rear. Not sure if spacers are legal over in Aus, if not then your only option really is to convert to 5 stud and run Evo V or VI 17x7.5" rims. Aftermarket 17x8" rims will be too tight a squeeze under the early Evo I-III gaurds.

I'm doing a full Brembo conversion to my 4WD Mirage, I loathe to give out the full details because most people do this for looks and "Whoa! It has BREMBOs" appeal. Also for the record regarding the thread header, Brembos are equipped Evo V and newer, not Evo IV and newer

i tried to do this with a vr4 and ended up with a hi spec caliper from england for the rears which has a parkbrake on the caliper. every company i tried gets really nervous when you say brakes and modification in the same sentance.
