Hey guys,

well wen i get my GSR fuel pump installed i want to boost the lancer up a little bit, now i wouldnt mind running in the vercinity of 12-15psi at night etc, and when duty calls, but dont 4G93T's have a boost cut at 14. something?

how can i by pass this if i want to run 15?

thanks

-Doug

nah i think the boost cut differs to every car..

mine used to cut at 15psi with a 3" exhaust

but with the stock exhaust it didn't..

so it all depends on your mods..

also cold weather would effect it also..
eg 15psi on a hot day might be fine..
but the on a cold day it'll cut..

hea it hit 1 bar with a 3" on a cold night and stopped.

my bottom end isnt stock. its got forged pistons thats it. i dont know why they didnt put forged conrods in when they did it.

so yea i will boost her up to 12 then see how happy i am with it, then might go more later. it would handle more than 15 easy with the pistons, but i dunno about the rest..

Get a HKS FCD(Fuel Cut Defender)... problem solved :)

They cost a fortune, double the price and you could get yourself and emanage.......

what about a chipped evo ecu?

i know turbosmart does a listing galant VR4 FCD

what these guys need to remember that VIC cold weather is not canberra COOLD!

in regards to the VR4 FCD

supposably it wont work on our cars
due to the type of air flow metre?

can anybody confirm?

baz, ill see wat ican find out...

im interested now.. i sell the stuff i should know it off the top of my head
see what i can find....

FCD

ok guys and gals

the turbosmart FCD for the galant vr4 is voltage based and ASPEC only

im not sure which models as far as imports go is frequency based
the only know FCD i know about that is frequency based is the HKS option
which has rude pricing

does anyone know of any other options? brands etc??
