well its really weird but when the car hit boost the car goes nowhere and it keeps boosting and doesnt stop until it back fires, its like its got a boost leak but I pulled the cooler of and all the piping checked all the silicone hoses and all the vacuum hoses and there all fine, and the boost has been screwed right down.
I dont have any more ideas, maybe someone can help.
Its a 94 GSR 4G93

firstly.. dont EVER let a car backfire.. all that pressure will bend a rod in a 93 motor..

have you checked your cat? maybe its blocked..

Jon

well when i put the TDO5 on i had a look at the cat and it was all sweet, but i dont think its that coz on the weekend i pulled all the piping and shit off, it ran sweet for a few days and now its back

Timing could be really really out? Is it harder to start?

Could be an exhaust leak?

Unbolt the pipe that comes out of the turbo, move it around a bit, and blow really hard into it, see if you can hear air leaking.. or even better, make a proper boost leak tester :D

u might have a similar problem to me.
is it when u upp the boost a bit..it whizzes but goes nowhere...?
id suggest spark plugs and leads...this is what i have been recommended

well i replaced the wastegate actuator but the problem is still there

Please list your complete mods so I can have a think about it.....

boost problems are usually (not in any order) caused by

1) blocked cat
2) stuffed actuator (which you already replaced)
3) split vacuum
4) intercooler pipe/hose leaking - some places can smoke test, also its possble but unlikely the intercooler itself
5) turbo itself

thats all i can think of at the moment
