hi guys ive got a idrift boost/vac gauge and ive installed it for more than 5 months now, i started to get this problem where on idle my revs have dropped to abt 600rpm and on the gauge its about 10 - 20 sitting on the vacuum side... when the car is fully turned off its not even sitting on zero, so im not sure what i can do but im thinking of replacing the intercooler pipes, oil service change if it still doesnt stop with shit idle im gonna go RE customs ask my mate to do it for me....

If you dont mind me asking on this post Vounguz... A question about boost spiking??

My standard boost averages around 12psi, but it cant spike between 11psi and up to 14psi.

How can you stop boost spike? Would an aftermarket BOV help?

Only mods are an air pod filter.

Im planning on having it set at 15psi once i put an exsaust on.

Cheers

Only good ebc can stop spikes.

EBC-electronic boost controller

so many things can cause boost spike but thats another story

I think what Vounguz is saying is his gauge might be stuffed

yeah i guess my guage is stuffed but my revs is runnning at 600/700 i dont get why feels a lil week

Disconnect your guage and block off the hose. if it still does it then you have a boost leak somewhere or ISC is playing up.

I've got a quality electronic boost controller (greddy profec b II) and mine still spikes HARD :( like as in spikes to 20/21 then drops to 16/17
