Bosch 040 Fuel Pump

Hey fellas..

Do I need a fuel pump? :lol: I've got a stock j-spec.. I want to up the boost, get better injectors (got no idea how i'm going to manage this fuel yet :roll: :lol: ) and possibly organise a bigger front mount and piping.

If it sounds like I do need a bigger fuel pump, does the Bosch 040 drop straight in? and is $150 a good price?

How much boost, which turbo and what size injectors?

Sounds like you could get away just rewiring the stock one?

probably 550's max, i'd like to stick with the 14b, and as much boost as i can safely run.. i'm thinking front mount would be next?

Im looking for a surge tank + external pump (hey i run out of fuel on courners :evil: )

Im running the std pump (rewired) with 550's / b16g / MRT / SAFC / 19psi
trims on log dont show it lean :shock: but injectors are maxing @ 103%
So i to need a new fp :cry:

You will get fuelcut before maxing out fp @ about 16psi (been there done that :cry: ) SAFC will fix that problem but (well that and bigger injectors did mine not sure if SAFC alone will fix) others are more qualified to answer
