Boss kit..

I bought an E3 boss kit for my Momo a while back. I was going to fit it tonight but the centre pin was very tight. I then had a look at the pin itself and noticed that it expands from 15mm just behind the splines to around 20mm which the boss kit definitely doesn't do. Is this normal or have I been stiffed.. (again)..

i have a boss kit that supposedly came off an evo 2 which is the same. So when i tried fitting it to my gsr it wouldnt go on completely becose it would't fit over that bit where the diameter expands. I just pushed it on as far as possible and did up the nut, seems to do the job and hasn't come loose yet, it just looks a little tacky becos theres a gap.

I bought my aluminium boss kit from Thailand and it was made in Japan (hooray!!) ... fitted on with no problem at all.

Has anyone used one of these? Does it fit properly on a 93 GSR?
