Hi guys

Just asking for a friend on how he can go about installing an aftermarket BOV. Is there a manufacturer that produces a specific model for the colt or will he have to get an adaptor made and if so who in melbourne can make them?

Thanks
Cris

Assuming the Colt has the same b.o.v flange as the EVO 9 and 8 MR, you should be searching for a bolt on kit to suit R32 and R33 skylines :)

Just remind him that any modifications in the engine bay void his warranty first :)

only the ones they can prove you actually did

Although i'm going to sound like a spoilsport...

That is entirely the wrong approach towards it. A vehicle warranty is offered on the vehicle as supplied from the factory, screwing with it makes it more likely to fail. Regardless of whether or not the owner perceives it to be a modification that may or may not affect the components of the vehicle in an adverse manner.

Reverting a car to "stock" after a failure and then claiming warranty is effectively stealing. But if the owner hasn't got the moral fibre to understand this then that's their burden to live with.

clutz are you saying that R32\33 skylines and evos have the same fitment for BOvs?

Im fairly sure the late model EVo's share the same flange as the older EVO's, so if they do, then yes you can use R32 and R33 b.o.v kits.

I used an R33 SSQV on my old VR4
