bov vac line and thermo house question

hey guys what sort of stuff do you use for your BOV vac line, as i just used some ****** clear plastic stuff lol, should i be going for say trans fluid hose or something similar thats heat resistant and wont squish..
Could that be a cause why my car ***** up when coming onto boost, my vac line melted or something and like no air can get through?

Oh also what places would stock a thermostat?
And on the housing there are 4 sensors right..
top double pin one is for the a/c is it?
bottom double pin is for the temp sender to the ecu?
front bottom single pin is for the?
back bottom single pin is for the?
atm only my front single pin is connected, could this be a cause for my thermo fan not to run as the rear single pin one has something to do with it?

front bottom single pin is for the? - Temp Gauge in dash
back bottom single pin is for the? - Emergency fan sensor ( turns on both fans on high if it thinks your car is about to melt! )

For the BOV line I just use vac line from Supercheap. I think it's about 6mm?
