Hey guys,
Yesterday i got quoted $218 a pair for std gsr DBA discs front, and $285 EACH  for rear solids or over $300 EACH (WTF!) for slotted DBA's!
That was from supercheap auto.

Then as driving thru industrial estate i noticed a RDA/EBC sign, i went in, and it was a RDA wholesaler!

He couldnt let me buy any because it would undercut his customers so he sent me to Cheapa auto spares!

RDA Vented fronts $59.95ea
RDA solid rears $58 ea

RDA vented/slotted fronts $210 pair
RDA vented slotted rear $199 pair

Front pads Black stuff $38
Rear pads Black stuff $38

Freight $27-ish

Total $512! delivered!

Happy with that!:D

What do you guys reckon?

I am running RDA front and rear discs on my car and completely happy with both...

I was running ebc red stuff up front and green stuff on rear, but have since changed my front pads to Lucas. As they have similar heat rating as red stuff and 1/3 of the price..

If you dont use your car for track work or hills work then black stuff should be ok. But i would've destroyed them or me with low heat rated pads.

Hope this helps... :D

What pads would you recommend for someone doing track work?

I am more than happy with the Lucas pads I am currently running... They have a 650deg rating and still work well cold.

I had no problems at all with them whilst running in the classic adelaide rally as a course car and also pushing through the hills.. :D

If your are after DBA stuff. try www.discpads.com.au.
I got a new set of slotted front rotors, and Bendix Ultimates all round for about $400. Not quite as cheap as the RDA's you guys are talking about but the prices from these seem better than what you were quoted from super-cheap.

I run RDA rotors which cop an absolute pounding and Ferodo DS2500 up front and EBC Blackstuff down back.

My front rotors have all sorts of scoring in them from the pads, but i'll throw you thru the windscreen if you're not ready for my braking :)

Abs doesn't kick in unless the ground is DRENCHED.
