Hey guys, is it possible to use 4-pot rear Brembo brakes from a Ford GT-P on the front of our cars?

I've been offered a set of calipers for $800, can this work and is this a good deal?

probelm with these is that the caliper off set is different as well as the caliper bolt locations brackets and so forth will be needed.

you would need a much larger master cylinder as well.

The twin piston brakes are fine. Spend the money on new slotted rotors, decent pads, decent fluid, and SS brake lines if u got any $$ left over.

though wilwoods on the borg would look hot

I must admit, not only am I looking into bigger than twin pots on the front for stopping power, there is a bling aspect to it. Some 4 pot brembos would look nice though, you must admit. If im not going to spoiler it out or have funky bonnet vents etc, I need some sort of bling in other areas. Defi gauges arent enough.

dust jackets? well they run rubber seals, same as my 3000gt calipers...they also have calipers designed as direct replacements as well as upgrades. their race and show calipers are slightly different, it's true, but they also use rubber seals.....

I fitted them to magan hubs ( I have a cordia).
I made up a 14mm alloy bracket, with tapped holes at the required location, a few shims, checked offsets etc .
not too hard basically, but a lot of time etc getting spacings and offsets right. Then I needed new mags to clear the calipers.
