HAHAHA, yeah I guess it does Mo. We could all keep our mouths shut but that kind of defeats the purpose of a forum doesn't it?

When I spoke to him he was not familiar with ecmlink at all.

A bad day is getting a flat tyre or having one of your midgets storm off set, not being told that professionally written eprom tunes are a "waste of time and never work" then ending up with a bogus dyno sheet (too linear to be forced

induction) and a 40hp difference on another dyno 2 days later.

You can start whatever you want, I'm not interested in participating. I am glad you have had great experiences with these guys but I should be entitled to share my experience (backed up with dyno sheets) irrespective of what

anyone else thinks.
All good, I'm not gonna defend him if he did something wrong but just wanted anyone interested to know that they do more than just haltech and that I personally and several others have not had an issue.

Out of interest what car did you have there that they gave a false dyno sheet from? And what car do you think it was from?

He also told me eprom was not that great. I think he is comparing to a full aftermarket ecu though.

Yeah, it was my HSGR. I would post the dyno sheets up but I am away at work with no laptop unfortunately. The reasoning behind Ben and my confusion and suspicion is the sheet from Chapman's shows a power and torque curve extremely similar to my old 5l V8. Max power below 5,000 and torque at 3,600 or so. No boost curve overlayed as requested and was told that air fuel ratios where dangerously rich

I lost a 3k old stroker single cam tuned by a supposed guru between home and the Gold Coast ( detonated tops off 2 plugs, bent valves, scored bores and stuffed turbo ) and Rob was recommended to me by Murray Coote (MCA suspension) who told me that he had tuned Joshes drift cars as well as their 3 outright placed S13 (the hammerhead ) driven by the Gis in the 2015 WTA so that was the best recomendation IMHO.

All good guys. Water under the bridge as far as i'm concerned.
However, i will say this.
Professionals should never have a bad day, hence professional naming. If i have a bad day at work, someone dies or millions of dollars of damage occurs. I am a professional. I have workers below me that stuff up, they are not professionals and the world is a safer place for it.
Further, if a professional tuner has a bad day and you sign your indemnity waiver and all, what could happen? Engine? Gearbox?.…..
I do not wish to sully this guys reputation at all, but i will not suffer from "a bad day".
All good guys. Cheers
