CAI on 4G61 lancer GSR

I want to ditch the shit model air can, and rubber intake pipe on the CB, but the AFM sits inside the filter, like on a galant GSR..... (i think)

can i use an AFM say from a CC lancer GSR, or even an NA 4G93 motor? and then get it rewired? or am i barking up the wrong tree here?

any input appreciated.

a 055 magna maf should do the job and VFAQ an show you how to wire it up, fit a pod addaptor and pod filter
