Hey guys,

I need some advice getting my new daily drive over from Perth.

What are my options? I dont really want to have to drive it back. I remember Polo freighting his R32 golf over to someone in Perth a while back.

What sort of money does it cost? what companies have people had good experiences with? How about rail freight?

cheers

DAN

fly over, pick car up, get on the piss with us, take car back with you on the train, get pissed for 4 days on said train.

:)

Going perth to east is much cheaper than the other way round... may even see change from $700 if you go depot to depot..

moving cars.com.au seems to be the best priced and biggest in aus... pretty sure that they will use the rail at that price... there are plenty of horror stories (stone chips etc.) from the rail... you will probably pay twice that amount if you want it transported in a protected container...

http://www.movingcars.com.au/recent-quotes.php for recent quotes...

Holden EHPerth depotMelbourne depot$610.00Aston Martin DB9 VolantePerth, WAMelbourne depot$675.00

SNAP!! Sorry for the spam. (i just brought a disco, we can hit the sticks together!!!) Good luck with the transport.

Moving cars quote was 640, depot to depot ....

not sure on methods though, I dont want any stone chippage!!

Dan if you need a hand in Adelaide for some reason (eg moving it from truck to truck) let me know I should be able to free up some time.
